Founder, IQBEAUTII

I build at the intersection of beauty and technology.

I’m Cheyenne “CHii” Johnson, founder, technical designer, and builder behind IQBEAUTII. My work sits where beauty, technology, wellness, and creative problem-solving meet.

IQBEAUTII grew from a lifelong relationship with beauty and a growing understanding of the systems surrounding it. Today, I use design, technology, and strategy to build tools and experiences that help beauty professionals, founders, and communities work, learn, and connect differently.

My mind naturally identifies problems, sees multiple solutions, maps the most accurate possibilities, and connects the dots between them. So what I once thought were separate projects and solutions started revealing themselves as pieces of something much grander. That’s when it clicked: I’m not just solving problems in the beauty industry — I am building a beauty tech network.

The Story

Beauty in the Beginning

I grew up around beauty. It was part of my family, my environment, and how I learned to understand creativity, confidence, and self-expression. Growing up between DaayTwaah and ATL, I was surrounded by beauty professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs, holistic masters, and people who knew how to make something meaningful with what they had.

My relationship with beauty also carries a deeper personal history. IQBEAUTII continues to develop in honor of my loving Grammy, Thurisia Ann Sartors-Jones, whose influence is at the heart of why I care so deeply about beauty, preservation, and the people behind the industry. My family taught me that beauty could be a craft, a business, a form of care, and a way to create opportunity. In high school and college, I naturally found myself stepping into that world too — doing my own hair, helping friends with theirs, and learning through the experience of creating beauty with my own hands.

As that curiosity grew, so did my interest in wellness, clean living, technology, and the systems surrounding beauty. I began exploring holistic wellness and herbal practices while discovering how technology could make complicated information easier to understand and more accessible. Today, I’m continuing that education from both sides — preparing to begin my journey into cosmetology while pursuing certification in holistic herbal product making.

That same curiosity eventually led me into technology and product development, including my journey through the Apple Developer Academy, and ultimately toward building IQBEAUTII. What began as a focus on beauty intelligence has grown into something much larger: a network connecting technology, education, professional development, community, and new opportunities across the beauty industry.

“I didn’t just jump into the beauty industry. I grew up around it — without realizing how deeply it had shaped me until now.”

How I Work

I Understand the Problem From Both Sides.

I work across beauty and technology, which means I can look at a problem as both a person inside the industry and a builder designing the system behind it. I care about what something looks like, but I also care about whether it works, who has to maintain it, and what happens after launch.

Product Design

I turn ideas into clear, usable experiences by thinking through the user, the problem, the flow, and the details that make a product feel intuitive.

Building

I move ideas beyond the concept stage and into working digital experiences, from websites and booking systems to apps and emerging technology.

Systems + Operations

I look at the structure behind the experience: workflows, information, documentation, communication, and the systems that help a business operate more intentionally.

Brand + Story

I connect what a business does with how people experience it. The goal is a brand that feels clear, recognizable, and true to the people behind it.
